Today.....showed me a bit of my inner self....a shy me....a shy Ady!!

Well, I was excited about one expat meetup in Singapore, which came after a week holiday sitting at home. The gameplan was to start meet first at Harry's Pub, Boat Quay @7pm.

I decided to go for later part to avoid beer drinking session there...as I was more curious for CQ-Clarke Quay session.

Do u know why?? This is the reason...

Yes, this is the CQ night view thru my eyes...i luv this place!!

This  is the only place, i happened to visit all alone manytimes...if i feel bore or low.

Just Sit at riverside steps or on our premier Bridge!!

I guess this is THE one of the spots of Singapore, which would savor my memory...our festive occasions stopshop...new yr...diwali n all!!

I would need another blog as to write innumerable & diversified things about CQ.

But in this blog I am penning a CQ incidence revolving self-realisation of one of my personality traits.

In a crave to have meetup with new colourful ppl....other than my current boring rusty friends...i followed an expat meetup prog for one fine friday evening. As i mentioned, i went late & tried to catch the grp @Harry's around 9:30pm. They were just about to leave....infact they were on the doorsteps of Harry's, heading for the next planned destination marrakesh @clarke....yeh as it sounds its a restro-bar of our dear Hrithik Roshan's papa.....Rakesh Roshan.

                                                                  Well till I didnt talked to anyone except Ngozi....one of the girl who organised this meetup....well she proclaimed herself to be from UK...but my CID mind broadcasted her to be a local **** whos trying to make money from these arrangements....well I have enuf evidences for this...cant share with u...sorry :P

Anyways, so far i had some discussion with her only...others seemed to be quite busy with themselves.The grp mostlycomprises of European..and i think UK...girls n guys. Adding to this herd, few Indians were also there who wr in search of smoke or hukka ...told me "they are not of my type"

I found myself a decent or literally shy person.....who cannot bang in b/t a self-indulged grp likeBarnie Stinsen (pls watch HIMYM to clinch more detials abt this character). After giving intro to a Nano tech researcher...Ravi...i found myself somewhat aloof....obviously so far i had no intro with rest.

But anyways i came out of restro jst to break that awkwardness or whtever it was.

I thgt i wont b able to mix up with such grp....found lil difficult to push myself n gave a stud intro...may b becoz i deprived the quota of fermented cerial/fruits from Harry's to feel comfortable with them. May be it was normal to act like that.....i think so!

Outside, after watching belly dance at Shiraz, went back to riverside...sat their for few minutes....before reaching to fav spot...the Bridge...respecting the ritual of getting a can frm 7Eleven....this time a nestcafe coffee. I didnt know that i wud rather enjoy there sitting alone...watching passersby....sometimes funny or i wud say their natural behaviors...it was cool with promising air, i wanted to stay there for long, but finally left to catch the last-minute MRT.

So..... thats it!!

I am a shy person....ok....i accept it. Need to get cool attitude to mixup with those extra-cool images...ahh...its good to get timely self-realisations. In between I thgt to walk back to marrakesh, and atleast said cool goodbye to all....but then i realised i got some topic for my blog...found some stuff from stockpile of my behavior...a retrospect on it....and a blog on it :)

Tomorrow 31stJan2009 , has also some lined-up events...

- a CityAlive event....street dance competition http://www.cityalive.sg ,and

- a Thai Disco KTV meet

....wht do u think..will i go there? Lets see!!

In the dusty days of Israel-Gaza, increasing figures of human casualaties for history books, papparazzis cant stay behind.

It also centred around the Germans and Jewish historical piece....a masala for movie-makers.

A proclaimed true story of Bielski partisans, and how Poland Jewish came together for protection and fight against German occupation.

Under Bielski's protection, 1,200 Jews survived the war, making it one of the most successful rescue missions of the Holocaust. The group spent around two years living in the forests and were initially organized by members of the Bielski family.

Day15: Sembawang Outing

First outing of the year. Am talking abt the Official outing!!
Just imagine it emerged during the shady days of uwb closure and restructuring with cmpny.

We all headed for Sembawang Park after lunch. It all started with some "indian shtyle" fun on the escorting bus...with our dum-shell leg-pullings, with unforgettable performance by our dear Amit Jaanwar....when he showed his censored chahat for the movie Dil Chahta hai....haha!!

Here we go....beautiful weather with slight rain drops n such a big park!!

We managed to form our 16-Sunderland team, with Pattricia (unicad trainer from Crolles, France) as our key player, like a portble offline google with us...really!! 

she ws the one who helped in cracking most of the puzzles at different stations of the amazing race.

Well if you want to take on the puzzles, here are the clues for those 4 stations:

1) 3x5x2 -> code for Luxemberg....dont know if any semiconductor scientists like us wud know

2) 3x2;7x4;7x1 -> another shitty clue for Spain

reaching final stop...saving the egg thrown to level 1...recorded in chart "16- 4:31pmok>"

we expected to be among top3...and to get some reward, but number 16 hammer cudnt make it to top4 either.....whttttt..its surprising!! but anyways I continued with Italian dish...oh...forgot its name...its famous...ahh..forget it!!

So party ended with wine-beers and to enjoy our mangers fun-talks especially Shaun

Day14: Young blood thoughts revisited

These days thoughts keep on lingering around India-Pak, Israel-Gaza.
Various minds, various opinions...within both the sects.

It all started with the newz of Mukesh Ambani, Sunil Mittal articulate Narendra Modi as a National leader of India. In my opinion (which, ofcourse, media has played big role in creating opinion) is somewhat extremist. But in any case, my freinds believed he will definitely improve current situation in India centering around national security...or to be direct - possible war with pakistan as a part of Nazi style "Final Solution". Hey guys....wait!
This doesn't look practical in 21st century for any nuclear armed countries. And to be more realistic, what this war would achieve? Is indulgment with pak armies could stop any such terrorists activities by extremists group? Or is there ANY way to get hold of this situation and stopping any further attacks. Is India taking ALL necessary & meaningful steps? Or is it depending on "motive-centric" US to take magical actions on its behalf?.....why US wud do its best for us? we should ourself find the best and effective way rather.

For sure time has given opportunity to wake India's diplomats and rulers to root-out the problem once and for all!!
Its for us to watch they do not cease in between this long journey in search for a solution ("a peaceful solution" for Gandhian readers)

Day12: Act of 2 kinds: Mumbai 26/11 carnage

Seen the Charlie Rose's  interview of a couple who were present in Taj Hotel during 26/11 Mumbai attacks. They mentioned from barbaric deeds of the terrorists to self-less acts of hotel staff/ commandos. 

It becomes hard to imagine both the acts where one side is filled with brutal killings, and the other side covers the human chain of staff made for protection unknown people till their last breadth.

Ya...for the sake of blog dates...have to chk this.

Well actually its Jan 12 in singapore while am writing....but may be due to my default times zone setting points to IST, it displays as Jan11.

Day9: Skipped but then Slipped

Sorry folks for a day missing!!

Yesterday, went to Clarke in the evening, spent there late night party...so Jan9 skipped, but am slipping day9 today.

Projects shutting down covering the dark clouds of rumours thicker...thanks to hyperdrive2.0

Adding some more pinch of salt to it, the day got the perplexing NeWs of forced leave during Chinese new yr...Some super+ve think tanks smelt some bigggggg...g ghoshna to be rolled out in near future for which mngmt want to give some peace time...haha

yeh...9days vacations. Different plans rolling out in different minds, none sure about its completion.Mine is still with cycle tour...hehe...but difficult to find crazy ppl now :)

Kangann was really awkward for me...but in the countdown days such exp....chalta hai!!

While returning back, looking at the dark shining roads at night, I was imagining the heat of my cycle roadtrip anxiety.

NO..this is not me!!

Extremely tired searching for my crazy idea, i got today.

To do something exciting this Chinese new yr, I decided for cycle expedition to Malaysia.

Day6: Creation of ST2 Circuit

Winning a game or losing it....there is much fun, infact, in playing it.

Such lessons I learnt from my nxp Tuesday sport -the Tennis!!

Atleast could experience mixed reactions of excitement, frustration, disappointment, happiness... all feelings in just 6-6(7-5) and 6-4 sets. Else work<->home routine could deprive you experiencing many human feelings.

Well my day6, has got the caption of st2 circuit creation...a kind of group, never to be found again...atleast for me.

Planning activity of google group creation, got completed....st2_circuit@googlegroups.com took birth...but makes my eyes shivering....oops the time is 1:27am....which means tomorrows post-lunch session would cost me a wrigley's gum....haha

Day5: Operation "Final Solution"

Revisiting to the history!!

Revelations of so many debating policies of finding final solution to the human conflicts, for the humans, by the humans, and on the humans

Many questions are propping up, during Israel-Gaza running conflicts and India's post 26/11 actions. Should India copy Israel when it comes to issue of National security?

I can press "Yes" as it takes innocent civilians. But neither do i like direct "No" as I don't have confidence in my country's diplomatic ways...may be it's my ignorance.

"Final Solution"  was the Nazi Germany's systematic genocide plan and execution against European Jewry during WW II. Hitler termed it as " final solution of the Jewish question"("Endlösung der Judenfrage")

It resulted in the most deadly phase of the Holocaust.

Prior to World War II, Hitler foretold the coming Holocaust when he said:

"Today I will once more be a prophet: If the international Jewish financiers in and outside Europe should succeed in plunging the nations once more into a world war, then the result will not be the Bolshevization of the earth, and thus the victory of Jewry, but the annihilation of the Jewish race in Europe!"

Day4: First Sunday

Wish you the First Sunday of 2009!!...haha.

Well it was not so exciting, as it brings all these festive holidays continuum to halt...a sad feeling.

Its Alright!!...will wait for Chinese New yr to bring this momentum again :)

Well my family is having Haldiram's dinner to celebrate my sis-in-law's bday, I enjoyed my minced-meet noodles :)

The day went lazily, and to avoid Sunday eve feelings, went to Semb Library to start with When Larry met Sergey chapter. 

I read how Google's founder met each other, their backgrounds, and how 2 person with common interests but with different skills started a journey to realise their dreams.

Well since it's a Sunday, so you can excuse for nothing substantial to share.... a considering a rest day.

Like I accepted apologies from Bachchan ji for not writing on Jan 3 night, please accept mine for not continuing Israel story today.

Still I can tell you one interesting incident(not happened to me but with our dear BigB).

While running on tread mill, he realised that his heart beats couldn't restored to normal speed. Worried he called doctors, who asked him to go back and take rest, which he did to found normal. And the same day a book BACHCHANalia is also launched at Tata Theatre, with Aamir Khan as guest of honour.

Time to sleep, will meet again!!

Day3: History opened - Jews

History is opened...and it big...really BIG!!

For the past few days, I have been thinking about why how countries formed and how religions are formed. Not so surprising Israel -Gaza fights cover my attention, and made me realise that I need to open my History books to understand its association with actions of today.

So my first chapter of history belongs to Israel.

Israel is the world's ONLY Jewish State.

I never ever gave a thought to the word "Holocaust" before.

I still remember the impact of movie Schindler's List had on my taste for movies.

Steven Spielberg's nicely made this true story of Oscar Schindler, a German businessman who saved 1000's of Polish Jews during Holocaust by employing them in his factories.

Such ghastly atrocities on any ethnoreligious group!

Ever after World War II relocation of Jews has created history of its kind.

To create a national home of Jewish, soon after World War I, under British mandate of Palestine, 

UN approved Palestine partition into 2 states, one Jewish, one Arab.

And it followed by a war.....a series of war...from that day to this day.

Partitions are always accompanied by conflicts b/w neighbours. Again, History has proven this with its burgeoning database....its goes on and on.

Day2: A healthy disregard to the IMpossible

First day of 2009 in office...

After the long resolution day on 1st Jan nite, day started with a fresh sunrise of hope.

First office lunch of the year deserved something appealing to the taste buds...yup...tried-n-tested Annalakshmi got the vote. Happily unmarried grp (bhaiya a newlywed exceptional is given the chance to enjoy with us) headed for Chinatown. Friday buffet really made it a special lunch with meethi lassi ending.

Missed a funny view, on the way, of Divya, a new mrt door-stuck club member, so if she'll write with her true emotions abt the incident, will post the link...pls divya, write for the fans :)

Of course it make the Friday post-lunch session as drowsy O0Oahh!!

An evening discussion with Guo Gang, a Chinese friend...my tennis fan, initiated  bussiness-startup crave. Interestingly I came to know he too doesn’t enjoy his current work and found difficult to get chance for business start-up.

This could be the seeded day of Indo-China's future venture...Ady-guo-gang explorations!

Evening ended at MRT with A Healthy disregard to the Impossible....not by me but by Brin & Page...a Google story.

Israeli history is also catching my attention these days, I should know its history and chronicle behind its current action in Gaza strip.

Day1: Entering into 2009

Starting again..writing infact after 1.5 yrs....thanks to one of my New Year Resolution.

I think the best way to start afresh for this NEW Year is to write my resolutions.

Ofcourse resolutions are made to be broken :)..but believe me the time you put yourself in deep thoughts for any resolutions gives so much of peace and satifaction :P

Its a beginning........... of new thoughts and ideas.

Its a beginning...........of new words,new actions.

Its a sunrise of hope!!

Top 10 New Year Resolutions of 2009

1) Daily Writing - a kind of dairy.

Its always good to pen down thoughts of what happened in whole day.

2) Daily Reading - atleast 15min of reading any articles, books.

3) Fit in Fitness - regular exercise daily.

4) My behavior with others - Socializing

     Need to change my always casual attitude with others. Should reveal confident and positive nature. Regular Believe in yourself dosage.

5) Self improvements steps - weekly check how much I improved on my weaknesses.

    My speech involving speed and clarity. Weekly check over it. Its a must

6) Walking & Sitting posture....keep myself reminding for upstraight.

7) Weekly assessment of cleanup process of Negative thinking...so much has been aggregated over the past:P

8) Better concentration and understanding of things...looks like i hav become "surface gatherer" in that past. Need to improve on my concentration during work, and stop mind wandering into all corners. Need to increase my cache memory, and listen things till its introspected my mind.

9) Remember whenever you feel bored - so many things to do in life.

     Sports is the one option which got Adarsh certification in every past situations.

     Reading and googling....are other 

10) Habbit Jotting down, capturing any good learnings, new findings.
